African American/British/Dutch, what have you, Dandy?

    Current: Terrance Howard -- kind of reminds me of an old time movie star; Ozwald Boateng -- his cuts don't always work for me but he looks immaculate when seen in public
    Classic model: Dizzy Gillespie -- crazy jazz cat; Ed Bradley -- stylish and hip

    Denzel - but I also wish my teeth were as white as his and my diction as crisp.

    I like Fonzworth Bentley, Andre 3000, and Common, although I don't strive to dress like them.

    I agree with other prior posters on Common and Ed Bradley (the guy was the understated epitome of style).

    I also like the stylings of Sammy Davis and Jay-Z (in more recent times).

    I like Don Cheadle too, but not necessarily for his clothes.

    Early to mid life Ellington, Malcolm X, 50's Sonny Rollins, Solomon Burke, and 60's & 80's Marvin Gaye was steppin' razor sharp!

    I'm not sure of Don Cheadle's sense of style, but the guy is truly a class act.

    Thelonious Monk was stylin. Miles was cool, I also like Dukes style. Jay-Z good except for his shirt collars.

    I've only seen a couple pictures but I also like this fellow:

    How could I forget Thelonius? That guy was cool!
