I'm new to SF. I'm a college student, and I'm looking for a versatile winter coat around $100. I live in South Carolina, so the winters are wet. I need a coat I can wear to class but also to church, etc. Any suggestions?

I would check what LL Bean is selling. Bean products are high-quality and usually very affordable.

Hey, I live here in South Carolina too, I think that what coat you want depends on how formal or how casual you want it to be. Personally I just bought a j crew duffle coat, but if you want something that you can dress down and dress up to go to church in I would suggest a nice peacoat maybe from the gap. I'm not sure what your size is but this is the link to a nice one.
