Affordable thin jeans

I've always worn regular bootcut jeans - either gap or american eagle - and now I'm just starting to look into slimmer types of jeans. I am very skinny, 30X32 and want to find some affordable thin jeans.

I've been looking at some thin jeans... I like the Nudie Bootcut Ola, but unless I can find a great sale I don't think I'll be able to afford them. I've heard dior is good for thin people (is that true, and if so where can I find some).

So my question is: Do you guys know where I can find some affordable thin jeans? Are there some good brands, or should I stick with Levis 511 and 514s?

Thanks!

Well you're not getting Diors for $100, Cheap Monday might be your best bet.

What do you guys think of the 511 and 514 levis?

Also I just looked at some cheap mondays online and they seem a bit too tight for me... anything not skin tight?

levi's skinny 511's

these were $30 at macy's and are great for the price (don't know if they're still that price though). really comfy stretch jeans with a skinny fit.

after that, cheap monday's or urban outftiters BDG skinny fit jeans. these options are more of the skin tight variety that i'm not too cool with though. part of that is cuz it's damn near impossible to find shirts that fit well enough to match the jeans.

I recently purchased bootcut ola and slim jim in a 30" waist which is what i wear in reg ralf. The slim jims are loose on the waist but have a slim silhouette through the legs and fit nicely. The olas i could hardly get on and they were crazy tight in the waist.I'd say the ola is skinnier than slim jim - Explain that someone please

For the large majority of people not on the forums, and even for some on, Bootcut Olas constitute skinny, especially compared to jeans as worn by most of America (and a large part of the world, actually.) I mean, c'mon, I've heard people advocating buying jeans you can't fully button up (and sometimes not just the top button, but the top 2 button!) here. In the normal world, that's crazy talk. Some retailers might advocate a snug fit on raw jeans to account for some stretching, but I know few to none that would advocate buying jeans that don't fit and making them fit. You are probably confusing the more wearable and versatile slim jean with the trendy "skinny jean", which is popular with women and a remarkably small minority of men in major urban centers (mainly LA and NYC, Paris, London, and Tokyo) and/or who frequent these forums.

I would say that the Nudie Slim Jim from DenimBar (at 20% off of about $155, you are not too high above your $100 limit) or the Rag& Bone RB6 rigid (on sale at Louis for $112 right now, may go down even more) are probably good bets for you. Cheap Mondays are also a good bet at $65, but I can't bring myself to recommend this company. If you are willing to spend more, there are many, many options in the slim but not skin tight category.
