I'm looking for affordable solid dress shirts with a slim fit--preferably without pockets. I'm interested in colors such as dark gray, French blue, maroon, navy, olive, brown, etc. I think these kinds of shirts look good with a sports jacket and tie or just with dark gray wool trousers. However, I'm having trouble finding exactly what I'm looking for. Something of better quality than Express but less expensive than Armani. I've tried the Banana Republic stretch dress shirts, but I don't like the collars. Any ideas?

I just bought a few from Charles Tyrwhitt. For the price they are a good value. Go extra slim. If you're really (really) slim then even the extra slim may not be slim enough. You didn't mention your size. They have very stiff collars, though the spread collars are softer.
