Lots of sizes and colors, todays sale only. I got, chestnut fairfax in 10.5 for $56.00 out the door. Get out there and do some damage! These are not 2nds either.

The subject reminded me of the April Fool's DSW thread. It was something like "Edward Greens! $99 at DSW!"

I've not seen anything I'd give house room to in a couple of tours of the DSW near my office.

Fairfaxes at $56 seems a bit incredible. A-E's closeout price for Fairfax firsts is still $229!

pentagon city DSW (DC area) has black and chestnut fairfax's, dark brown hancocks and chestnut hillcrests at 120. $56 is rather sweet, though.

I am for sure not an expert at DSW, the one at Old Orchard was superior to the Vernon Hills, the latter had one pair of AE's and it was not nearly as reduced as the ones I purchased earlier. Additionally, the store I purchased at had at least 30-40 pairs. This is my first AE experiance, so I have no frame of reference in regards to the model names. I am sure you could have them pulled from the Old Orchard store. As far as the fairfax, there were at least 10-12 pairs in chestnut and three pairs in black. They also had a cap toe shoe and a monk strap in black that had a slightly squared toe with a medalion.
I dig the fairfax, I never thought I would like AE, but at $56.00 I couldnt go wrong....I didnt go wrong, I had only had high regards for the better Italian and British. These are seriously comfortable and rather good looking, I might see if I can antique them a bit to make them even more interesting...

In short, in Skokie IL at Old Orchard, you can get AE shoes for $56.00

there is the address and phone number. The Fairfax model is around $80 if you cant get the additional 30% off.

E Spencers now on STP for ~120. use the 20% off code and get them for 95. If you've got one of the discounted gift cards, they're yours for about $76.

These are the patent leathers, which may not be for everyone. But for that price, it's nice to have an extra pair for those black-tie emergencies.

i was going to call shenanigans on the AE for $56, but i was near my DSW today and found some fairfax in chestnut, they are on sale, $199 - 40% clearance = $120 - 30% additional clearance = $84, if they were 60% for the original clearance then they would have been $56, so it's plausible at that price! I'm still happy at $84 for mine!

For anyone in DC the Baileys Xroads DSW has some AE Fairfax in Chestnut (mostly small sizes, i remember an 8, 9 10, some narrow widths). 1-2 Concords (monkstrap) in brown, i remember a 10, 10.5 and some in black, mostly bigger then 11.5.

for Novaguy, if $120 is the marked down price, there should be an additional 30% to get you to $84, it's not as good as $56 but still pretty good.

at pentagon city, it was marked $200, with the 40% off thing. so $120. and nothing in my size.

i might head over to bailey's xroad tomorrow - 10.5 is my size. although they're probably heavily picked over at this point.
