AE Parliament - orthotic-y looking?

Just a quick question for anybody who's seen or owns the AE Parliaments - do they "look" like orthotic shoes - i.e. are they kind of clunky looking or look excessively thick? I ask because I've found a good deal on a pair of AE seconds, but I won't have time to actually examine them in-store before the deal ends.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Mine don't look clunky - they look like all my other AE's.

They look very similar to the Strands in my opinion.

Thanks for the responses.

Can anybody else comment as well? I'm this close to being sold on them.
