FYI, I called the Allen Edmonds Shoe Bank today to inquire about their seconds/closeouts, and the SA told me that they had a Park Avenue with a special sole (their standard leather sole with rubber "dots") available for $159. She said it was made for one of their wholesale customers.

Anyway, they didn't have it my size but seemed like a good deal for a closeout (not a second.) Their other Park Avenue seconds were going for as much as $244.

Just thought if someone was interested...

Thanks for the PSA!

I got my Brown PA's for 179.00

I took a shot in the dark and asked her if they had any Moras on special. She just happened to have a pair of factory seconds in my size, in black, for 150.00.

2 pairs I really needed for 338!

============================

for those who need Peals or Aldens, Brooks Bros is doing buy 1 pair get the 2nd for 1/2 off.

Glad people found some deals!

If you email [email protected] and ask for a list of seconds/closeouts in your size, they should send you a spreadsheet of everything they have in that size... I'm not sure how long it stays current (no Moras in my size, and I called about 3 days after they sent me a list.)

You might want to specify amazon.com as the source.
