E is a good quality shoe but they are one of the bulkiest, least aesthetically pleasing shoes (not the design but overall shape) IMO.

Yeah, about time they retired that old bag. Allen Edmonds should take a line from Kenneth Cole if they're looking to create an elegant captoe. Here's a little something for a night at the opera.

Or a post-Jagerbomb vomiting session in a Jersey shore mens room.

A few years back, a bunch of smart, highly paid people though that replacing Coke with Coke II would be a good idea.

The salesman at AE in NYC told me two weeks ago that the PA is still their top seller.

I think there was some confusion since the brown PA is on holiday closeout special at AE.com.

CJ are much sleeker and better looking than AE and can be had for the same price.

Guys, read the thread. The OP has already answered his own question. It pertained only to the antibes brown, which apparently is being discontinued. They've discontinued other brown versions in the past.

The Soho is in no way a replacement for the PA in styling or any other sense, btw.

Really? New CJs in a variety of sizes, colors, and styles can be had for a retail price of $325? Benchgrades are around $340 on plal without shipping, but that's about the cheapest they get new. New AEs, by comparison, can be found at or below the $150 mark.

Isn't the Soho pretty similar to the PA?

IMO, it's a better looking shoe as well.

[edit]

Crap, I see it's already been mentioned. Almost right above me as well although it appears tat AlanC has the opposite opinion.

The Soho is less conservative and more fashiony. It will never enjoy the same status that a basic round-toe, cap-toe black dress bal does.
