Help! I'm trying to get Moras, but having problems finding a good fit.
I have a pair of Park Avenues in 10D that fits great.
But for the Mora, in 10D the heel feels a bit roomy. The 9.5D feels a bit tight in the toes. Not extermely painful, but tight enough that they will probably hurt if I walked in them for extended periods of time.
So what do you guys think? Will the 9.5D stretch enough to comfortably accomdate my feet? Or is it more likely that the loose heel in the 10D won't be an issue after they're broken in? Or should I just give up on the 8 last altogether?
People don't usually go down a half-size when switching from the Park Avenue to another last, like the #8. For example, 8.5D fits me well in the Park Avenue, but I'd go with 9C in almost anything else.
Heel slippage, for me, is often a question of width, as my heels especially are rather narrow. I'll agree with boo about trying a 10C.
