AE Executive Heels Question

Hello,

Just wondering what the heels are like in the AE "executive" rubber soled shoes. They look like a stacked heel, but are they are just different layers of rubber or the regular kind with wood?

Thanks

I'm not that up to speed with Allen Edmonds footwear, but looking at their website I would say they are a leater or leather/board heel pack with a rubber topiece.

I'm wearing a pair of Lombards right now - heel appears to be two layers of hard leather and one (bottom-most) of rubber.

Executive Collection heel lifts can be replaced and the shoes are recraftable.
The soles are a very tough nylon and wear like iron.
The Executive series are great for rainy days.
I have the Montgomery in brown and am very happy with them.

I had a pair of Lombards before and the sole wore pretty quickly IMO, faster than normal for me although my dress shoe experience is somewhat limited
