AE Dryden: Which Last?

Anyone know which last the AE Dryden is on?

Just got a pair in the mail in 8D and I am very confused by the fit. I am an 8D in my Park Ave's and virtually every other AE shoe I have owned or tried on. I had heard the Park Ave's were AE's narrowest last, however, I can barely get the Drydens on my foot. It's definitely a width problem. When I when I finally get them on it's incredibly tight around the ball of my foot but I have plenty of lenght.

Is this a fluke, or typical of the Dryden last?

Hmmm. I am a 10D in the PA and a 9.5D in the Dryden.

Wish I ordered a PA in 9.5d instead of the Dryden in a 9.5d. Its too wide for my narrow feet. Dryden is made on last number(2) confirmed by customer service after I took a walk in them. A nice looking shoe though.

I believe the Dryden is made to accommodate an orthotic or slim insert, according to the last description given on AE's website. I thought the Dryden (9D) fit a little weird (compared to other brands, I don't have other AEs) until I added a slim insole, and now it fits fine.
