AE Chili - Color Coordination?

I just bought a pair of AE Byron in Chili. I love the fit and especially the color. My previous "dressier" shoes were either black or cordovan and I felt pretty comfortable matching my pants with those colors. Are there any guidelines for the chili color? Are there certain colors which complement/clash with chili? I rarely wear suits at work - sportcoats occasionally.

I often grab examples such as these, from paint or hardware stores. I have hundreds of such 'color' coordinators. They're fun to use, and helpful. Here are some complements, to 'chili pepper.'

There is. Allen Edmonds makes polishes for all theur calf shades, though I have found teh chili polish really brings out the reddish tones in Chilli. if you want to keep it lighter, and closer to an orangey tan, use AE chestnut polish.

i just use the AE tube cream polish, which is available from their website and should be available elsewhere (such as at nordstroms).

if you need the wax stuff in the tins, kiwi probably has something that's close.

Would you recomend using a neutral cream on chili's if you do not wish to change the color?

I use Angelus Mahaghony and it works quite well.
