Hi all!

New here, and thought I'd ask the experts. Thanks for any help or replies!

I just bought a really nice Julius Red Rider Jacket. I'm trying to find information on whether or not I can weatherproof or seal the leather in some way. I cannot seem to find any info on the web about this.

The jacket is a vegetable tanned lamb leather. The treatment and finish on the jacket is ridiculously beautiful, but I have noticed that water will stain the jacket. Even if I sweat a little bit, the jacket shows pit stains. I do not want to ruin or discolor the original finish on the jacket at all. There's quite a bit of detail and distressing on the leather finish, and I don't want to ruin this either.

Do any of you all have any suggestions on something I can put on the jacket to protect it, yet keep it's finish? Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to clean spots on the jacket without creating more spots or ruining the finish?

Thanks a ton for any help all!!
