Hi all, I am considering buying this pair of shoes which I like and which offers me a good gum sole and waterproofness with goretex, something which I need since I live in a regione with several months of snow and cold winter. But I struggle to see what kind of style this would fit, as they look very plain, but they are derbies, so I'm asking for your advices.
I'm thinking of these as everyday shoes to the office, where formality level is quite low and where I normally wear a shirt and a pullover or blazer. I'm trying to build a guardarobe with warmer colours and I have pants in colours like sand, green. But also a jeans sometimes. Would you say that these shoes are quite versatile?
Thanks and sorry if my question seems dull, Im new to the style world and trying to learn.

What is your current budget? There are a lot of brands making derby-style shoes. Also, is Gum Sole a priority for you ? I think a hard-wearing rubber sole may work just as well.

Hello, I am looking at this particular model in the picture, brown suede, I already got it since they were on sale, but I have 30 days to return.
I wrote gum, but it is actually rubber, sorry I thought it was the same ;)

I have some recommendation if you want a step up in quality and construction.

They make affordable shoes in the Goodyear-welted construction. And their suede are waterproof:

Another option would be this derby from Skolyx own line of shoe:

Once the sole became worn out, you can easily replace them at the cobbler. The lifespan of these shoes will be much longer than your departmental brand footwear that uses adhesive to attach the sole.

Thanks, I'll check availability of these brand where I live ;)

Indipendently of brands, for that type of shoes I had in the picture, what would you say in terms of versatility and combinations with different styles?
