    Hello all,

Long time reader, first time poster. I'm heading to a summery wedding in Charleston next weekend. I've got the slim, cotton navy suit and the light bucks. I'm wondering about a shirt/tie/pocket square combo to go with those. I'm trying to have some fun here--it's a Southern wedding after all.

The first option I'd selected is an aqua gingham shirt with a knit yellow skinny tie and a white linen pocket square (lined yellow) as follows:,66,69&optionValueIds=,90&optionValueIds=

Is there a more fun pocket square that I should consider? What about this tie?

I'm also considering a pink gingham shirt--would that be better than the aqua shirt? Tie and pocket square suggestions for that? Would also welcome an excuse to rock this pocket square:

Sorry, this is a bit scattered--I'm basically still pretty open to suggestions, with the caveat that I want it to be bright and fun. What do you think?

Gingham is an informal fabric so you really want to think about whether you want to wear that to a wedding. Same with the white bucs.

Here's another recommendation that will fit the occasion in a dashing way:
    - Brown dress shoes
    - Brown dress belt
    - White dress shirt
    - Brooks Brothers Twin Frame navy/yellow/light blue stripe tie.
    - The white/yellow border pocket square you mention
    - To snazz it up just a bit (but not over the top), Brooks Brothers yellow sea island socks.

This is a classy rig for a daytime wedding with just enough panache to keep it in bounds for both the location and occasion.
