Advice-santoni shoes & london shopping

2 not-so-fast questions for you guys:
1) saw santoni shoes monk- for eur 550 at retail.
-value/not value
-quality good/not good

2) will be in london in 2 weeks
-are there still sales going on, if yes where-would look for sportcoats & shirts.
-but also shoes- heard crockett & jones had special offers- yes/no, and other sho advice for a budget of 4-600 eur?

I am in the same situation - a friend told me most of the good stuff has stopped their sales, but there's some odd stuff which might still be on sale, but you better know what you are buying.

1) depends where you are from and what Santoni line. If you are from Europe, Santoni has many more styles available to that market, so it is less likely that you won't see these again at even greater discount. Also depends what line - FAMs or Limited Editions are only worth that amount. But even for the FAM line, 550 seems doesn't seem that much of a discount. If it is orange sock, it is too much. you have a model name?

Santoni is not a brand that is widely available in London,

I only know two stockists: Kurt Geiger in Harrods (come to think of it, I cannot recall Santoni this spring in Harrods, it is possible they have stopped stocking it) and Alfred Dunhill in their flagship store in Bourdon House, Davies Street, Mayfair.

Most sales have ended by now, although there are some stores still dragging on with their sales.
