I`ve tried on two sizes and in the 8 its a slightly tight fit, where my foot has a bit of resistance from the natural last of the shoes, but the 8 1/2 is no resistance, but the crease has a lot of room. Both lengths are fine, but it s a question of getting more room, or just the right fit where I would have to stretch the foot naturally upon wearing.

The 8`s would have the nicer crease, and the 8 1/2`s would have that extra room in the crease. Would they ever give a nice crease, or would they always look too big?

They are a slipon by the way.

The leather is cordovan, and its an Anthony Cleverly. Any ideas appreciated for this dilemma. Of course I could pass altogether. Appreciate any views...
