    hey everyone,

Been a lurker for awhile on this forum and finally decided to do the plunge and went and got 2 bespoke suits. Overall went well but needed some advice on the back of the suit. Please see below pictures:

    Question for you guys:

    1. The tailor mention that the rolls is the best that they can do. Is this correct?
    2. My gut says that the side are too narrow. What do you guys think? Thing is the front feels pretty good.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

    1. They are incorrect. But perhaps it is beyond their abilities?
    2. I agree. Since you've got really broad shoulders, you can afford to have the sides let out and still get a really nice taper. Given the lack of shoulder extension popular now, in order to get that taper, jackets often have an hourglass shape to account for widening hips. Shouldn't be necessary in your case.

I have this issue (rolls) with some of my jakets. Recently when i had fitting with my sicilian tailor i had the same issue during the first fitting and i asked him the reason of this and he told me that the jacket is too wide at some point so it makes these rolls. He corrected it for the second fitting. But it's true that on some of my jackets (from some other tailors) it's not corrected...
The back of your suit is pretty bad for a bespoke suit and at this point it's not going to be easy to correct all of this..

Thank you both. I am going to bring it back to get changed and see how it goes.
