Greetings, Gents. I'm going out this weekend with a group of people for dinner. It is just your average suburban restaurant, where the upper end of most patrons' attire is business casual, mostly young people. By just wearing a blazer, I'll be one notch sharper than most of the men, which is what I'd like. I'd like advice on shoes and blazer combo. Here is the base outfit:
-jeans, medium-dark wash, minimal distressing, perfect fit
-crisp button-down, white background with green and blue stripes
I have two pairs of leather shoes:
-a pair of black cap-toe bals with brouging, that have been to hell and back but kept polished (read: character)
-a pair of burgundy penny loafers
I have two blazers:
-black wool, vented, three-button with black buttons
-navy wool, non-vented, two-button with navy buttons
I have belts to match each pair of shoes.
What say ye?
