Hi, everyone.
A few questions regarding front collar band height for men with a tall neck.
Divij/Hemrajani typically uses a front collar band height of 1.125", which simply does not look good on me (nor probably on a lot of people). I need to increase it but am trying to decide how much to crank it up. I do not want a two-button enclosure and also don't want to look like Karl Lagerfeld. =]
-1- Ascot Chang's Web site says one of their collars has a front collar height of 1.375 inches, which they say is "slightly shorter than most Italian style collars." Does this sound accurate (i.e., that a Naples-based tailor would typically use something in the vecinity of 1.5")?
-2- What would one guess is the front collar band height here in the photo?
If it matters, I would probably be using a rear collar height of 1.875".
Thank you.
