I've been going to a certain tailor for quite a while now, and he's probably done around 25 of my shirts. Unfortunately, I've been recently informed that he did a poor job shortening the sleeves (something about not removing the placket). This got me thinking...is there any way I can tell whether he did a poor job taking in the sides of the shirts as well? The two standard operations I need to have done on every shirt I purchase is pretty much taking in the sides and shortening the sleeves. How can I tell whether a tailor did a good or a bad job?
Any advice would be appreciated (and hopefully pictures).
