Advice needed - eveer used raja-fashions.com ?

Good day gentlemen,

Has anyone ever had a suit / shirt made by Raja Fashions? (website as above www.raja-fashions.com). They advertise in Time magazine, and are actually coming to Dublin for fittings this month - one of the only tailors I've seen that do, so I'd love to get a suit made for myself. I'd love to know if anyone has any experience of them, though I must say I'll probably be jumping at the opportunity regardless, as I'd really like to own a suit that didn't come off the rack! Prices for suits range from $350 to $5,000. I have a feeling I'll be going for the $350!

As always, any comments you may have are gratefully appreciated.

You could do a lot worse than Raja - I have a sportcoat and a suit from them that I absolutely love. The fit and detail are outstanding. BUT it was my second order, I bullied them into doing a better job than they did on my first order, and they were part of a rather large order (one sportcoat, one trouser, 6 shirts, one suit). It wasn't always a pleasant shopping experience. EDIT - I meant to also write, there's no way you'll be going for the $350. This is a bait and switch. The fabrics for $350 are TERRIBLE.

on a personal basis i would never use Raja fashions i have only used them once and i felf i over paid for what i had and i hate the smug service aswell.

if i was you i would save you mony and come to HK for a week stay in a cheapish hotel and shop around for a day and then decide who to choose

the suit i had from them i had to get it fix around 3-4 time so i personally would never advise anyone to use them!

not to sound racist or prejudiced, but i am getting the impression that given a choice between the cantonese tailors and the ethnic indian tailors, the cantonese are the first choice.

actully i use indian tailors just not Raja! once bitten twice @#$%!! as they say
