Advice for brands with different width fitting

Hi all,

I'd like an advice for bying a pair of black Oxford. My foot is a little hollow, but not wide, which makes the E width for Crockett & Jones not a good fit for me (there's a big gap between the lacing in my opinion). Alas, this brand doesn't offer wider fittings.

On Weston (a french brand), 8E is perfect because it's the widest whereas D is the standard fitting.

So I'd like to know which high quality brands do propose several widths. I can think of:

  • Edward Green (UK)
  • Allen Edmonds (US)
  • Barker (UK)
  • Loake (UK)
  • Weston (FR)
  • Church's (UK)
  • John Lobb (UK)

I'm ruling out AE because it's too tricky to get them here in France. So which are the brands akin to C&J which offer wider fittings ?

I know I can go for a pair of derby's but I found them less classy and more sporty.

Thanks a lot for your advices.

Carmina and TLB?
C&J has G fitting on few lasts but it’s difficult to find stockists carrying it.
You could go with personalized lasts at the higher end like St. Crispin’s too.

I meant I have a high instep.

Already tried Carmina but same as C&J. TLB not yet but they propose MTO so that could be a solution.
