Hi Everyone,

I need a lil advice,
Recently on my trip to India I got a bespoke suit (full canvas) and a hopsack navy jacket (half lined) made.

I wore the navy jacket for the first time and hanged it on the back if my car seat. While taking it out the lining got stuck a little with some threads coming out.

After coming back and taking a look closely I somehow feel that the finishing is lacking.

So I want to know if somehow the jackets haven't been finished yet entirely I should contact the tailor ?

Grateful for any advice.

The lining is not entirely stitched inside; is it due to half lining structure/summer jacket to keep it airy or it needs further finishing?

This lack of stitching can also be found in the lower aspect of armhole where some canvas is visible?

On the other jacket:
There is a white thread from the trial times going up from the vent to the armhole

Well, the basting thread can be easily removed. As for the lining, my half-lined jackets have all it completely stitched, but it could well be a choice of your tailor. Ask about it, and if that bothers you, let have it be stitched.
