I Loled

We buy employee cakes on birthdays, let employees bring kids to the store when babysitters ditch, buy them dinners to celebrate successes, and give them free educations in how to sell themselves on the side. Id say I have Julie Wainwright beat.
We take our employees and their families on all expenses paid trips to Vancouver Island, and plan for 2-3 days work but pay for 5 days so that they can have a few work and financial worry free days, and buy them Good Art Jewelry to go along with their dinners. Also, and this is for real, we have impromptu jiujitsu matches after meetings. Not too many people can vent their frustrations out on their boss by choking or armbarring him (or at least, giving it the old college try) without legal repercussions :)

This weeks sales - not bad on most considering it was a soft week with a lot of fluff in ties. The buyer from the Polo cargo pants flaked right after winning (bastard) so those are not being counted and will be re listed this sunday.

This weeks sales - $1094

Investment - $2
Profit - $19,861.41
To goal - $65,138.59

Hmmm. Unfortunately, it was impossible to move certain settings across the upgrade, so we had to redo them manually, and since a lot of those were some on the fly the last time around, they were never properly documented. I'll ask that the maximum be increased to some reasonable compromise between the few people who will run up against the limit and the constraints of wanting fast load times for site users. Anyway, just a bit of how the sausage is made! Thanks.

You could also auto-thumbnail all pics, or any above a certain size. I do this manually in any case (the old site being rather slow down under).

We have the default for images set to be full image instead of to a large thumbnail because it's a fashion site, but yeah, I may try to do that. The problem with full image is that everyone has iPhones and ridiculously large default image files.

I think the thrift thread and I personally, while if not posting a selfie only post 15 pictures per post minimum, would really, really appreciate that. @LA Guy

Fine, we are now setting the max to 15 images, and we've also constrained the images so that the max size is 1200x1600. If they get bigger, then they will be automatically resized. I am sure that some professional photographer with a ginormous monitor set to ridiculous resolution will go ballistic, but most people would prefer to just have a faster render speed. Sorry Tony Stark RIP.

Quick math for those of you keeping score - we've got about 51 weeks left to roll with the challenge and with the amount remaining to hit the goal we are going to need about $1250 on average every week. Summer, that may be a challenge to hit but I know in the fall we are going to push the envelope!
