I'm planning a week-long "adventure" trip (hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, etc.) for August or September.  I'd like to go out West on a tour with an established company like REI.  I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who's been on one of these types of trips, particularly regarding where to go and what companies to go with.  Thanks in advance.

Holy necropost... Well, I don't think AC has found a wife yet, maybe he's still game.

yah, I was forum surfing on my iPhone in a hotel lobby waiting for my running-late client....saw this right at the top, like right under the red bar below the pinned thread, with no replies. Looked brand new.

Figured what AC needs is a motorbike ride, a mountain and someone to mount and ride....posted accordingly.

Then I saw the date.

So weird.

Oh well Chris, offer is open!

I assume I'll have to sign a waiver for the m@t "Adventures in Vietnam" trip. Didn't Tiger almost lose a limb on one of those trips?
