I like the last two but I really like the brown suede.

those are not classics. they are '70s style. the '70s had their comeback in the '90s. it is now 2007. move on.

i agree that modern sneakers are hideous for the most part, but this gives the new generation an opportunity to wear something other than sneakers.

I own the top Gazelles (with the heel-tongue) in red and I like them, so that would be my recommendation.

I think you'll find that ,with the exception of the brown suede, Gazelles and the bottom Italias were first released in the 60's and are therefore not 70's style. I'm also curious as to what sneakers, if any , you wear ?
