After they stretch a bit, would you compare the fit with your SDA 103's? I'm considering buying a pair from BIG. It's actually a toss up between SDA 103 and the Eternal 811. Thanks!

Sure NP, I'll compare the fits once they're ready. It will probably take a few days of wearing them around the house before I am ready to wear them out, though.

I know because I'm breaking in a pair of raw KMW. I'm sounding like a denimhead here but if you sleep with them on, it helps stretch the waist. I'm currently rotating several pairs so no hurry. Thanks.

Mine are pretty close to fitting so I'm just going to wear them a few times around the house. I think the SDA-103 is slightly more fitted in the thighs and slightly more relaxed in the lower leg, b/c the SDAs were tighter than these ever were in the thighs and crotch. The SDAs aren't that tight in the calf area though. I got my SDA-103 one wash, though.

You can get a pair from Mauro at Denimbar. You can email him and ask one of their friendly staff regarding sizing, etc. I have a pair and I love the fit.

Also try their Bethesda store. When I tried the two, that store had my size, and said they'd just gotten a full size run.

So you guys that have had these for a while, how much has the waist stretched?

Mine just came today, and the waist is snug but not uncomfortably tight. I'm worried if it stretches more than 1/2 size or so, it's going to start getting too loose. Should I exchange for a size smaller, or do these really not stretch that much?

So far mine have not streched out, but I've only worn them maybe 10 times and they were not tight to begin with.

811's a more relaxed than 103's -- bigger cuff opening, higher rise -- mic's are tighter than 103's, and look like they slightly taper when you have them on, on an athletic body.

Mine really haven't stretched much. I would say that you should get whatever size closes semi-comfortably. If they aren't comfortable at all when you put them on, they'll probably stay that way.

I've got a pair of Acne Mic Rigid in a 30/32. After about 10 wearing and no washes, I've seen fairly minor stretching in the waist, but little else.

So by "fairly minor" you mean less than one size?

Yes - I'd estimate half an inch or so.

The real test comes when I finally wash them and see if I still have jeans that I can actually wear.

Just received mine from the denimbar, Took almost 2 days shipping $159.20.. Acne retail is $198. so Im satisfied.
Im not much of a jean-guy, (Only have 1 or 2 pairs in my weekly rotation, and well... those are my only 2 jeans) so I figured going raw makes the most sense since I can hold on to these for a year or so. Im 6'3", and these are 31x34, so Id take a picture incase anyone was curious about fit, but theres construction workers wandering around my room..
