What is the point of this thread?
Sorry, I`m pretty new to the clothes thread - could you raise any objections if you have any?
From my side, the point is to show my jacket...
It's wonderful but it may be in the wrong place. Where does it come from?
Ah, please guide me - I thought clothing was appropriate.
It was made for me by a tailor in Tokyo who had old stock cloths.
Around $1000, not cheap, but fits me well. This is made in the Huntsman long less curved front style.
Could we see it being worn? Cloth looks lovely.
$1000 all in? That's pretty cheap for cloth + cmt.
Yes, CMT, cloth and one fitting. Tailor`s business is struggling in this economy and summer dress-down policy, so one can get a few bargains I believe in Tokyo. What`s more, the Japanese appreciate old well made things, and the occasional old cloths do turn up.
Very tasteful, better not tell who is your tailor to everyone here.
I like the colour & texture of that cloth. I can imagine it working well with creams, beige/tan, other lighter browns, and even orange elements. For instance, beige moleskins, tattersall shirt in earthy colours, orange knit tie, brown boots, maybe a even with a fair isle or other patterned sweater.
