I got some sort of email ad from STP yesterday, so I thought I would take a look to see what they were giving away. I entered WATCH into the site search and got several. Nothing that I was intered in buying.

However, I thought this one was interesting:
Gevril Soho Deluxe

What I thought was so funny about this particular one was the note that it was a Limited Edition of only 500. So it sold so bad that they had to dump the Limited Edition on STP. Price marked down from MSRP of only $4,995 to a real value price of $2,000. Wonder how many they have to sell at that price. That must be some great Stainless Steel though.

Gevril is a pretty derivate brand that uses basic ETA (Swatch) movements. They simply copy other brands designs (Blancpain and Franck Muller for example), change the model name, throw in a Swatch movements and probably have the watch assembled somewhere in Asia and then put a ridiculous retail price on them. At $2,000, it is still a very bad value.

Gevril's terrible... don't do it. At $2000, Omega's far better.

I agree, with others opinions and pass on the Gevril watch.
You can get a much better watch for $2k.
