Hello. My resume has phrases which are underlined by the grammar check. I 'ignored' them, but if I email this, will they show up on the other person's computer? It's really messing with the gestalt. Is there a way to permanately disable grammar check from this file? Or should I just go PDF?

Thanks

I view pdf's as safer when I get them as an attachment from someone.

The other person's computer will mark them as misspelled unless he/she has also ignored that word. No way to stop it. Microsoft knows more than you.

I hate (note that I rarely say hate) Word's grammar checker. You can't shut it off if someone else has it on. Go PDF.

Another vote for PDF. I spent the good part of my work day writing technical reports and somehow Mr. Gates has decided that the "passive voice" isn't appropriate. There's so much green underlining I should get a LEED point.

I also recommend PDF. In addition to solving your grammar check problem, the recipient will likely find it eaiser to view.
