AF opened a flagship store in London on Savile Row, so they don't need to go to NY for that. Admittedly, it is much cheaper in NY.

lol I don't quit see what the fact that I've never drank alcohol before and therefore asked for advice on mixing a drink has to do with my previous post.
Are you saying rum & coke or something along those lines is only for hicks?

If it is, then I've severely midjudged myself! lol

( I work for AF)

The A&F Flagship on 5th Avenue has a much wider selection than most of the stores. It also has clothing that no other AF has. This doesn't make waiting in line any less stupid, but maybe thats how they rationalize it. And who knows maybe they'll get to see the 'crombie zombie in the flesh...

Stick with us young grasshopper, and ditch the cola mixers, unless you're on a diet and in the privacy of your own place. ;-)

This might need to be put into the 'Most Recent Akward Moment' thread.

Yeah, well I'm from Kentucky and proud of it! Git-r-done! Yeeee-haawwww (firing of shotgun into the air).

And, as for the photo above, when did Gary Busey and Ted Kennedy have their genes spliced?

Also, it's a "Flagship" store so I'm sure that is cool to them.

FAO Schwartz and American Girl has a huge line too. Tiffany did at one point.

Come on now guys....let's be nice to us mid-westerners. After all, we're not all hicks. The city of Edina, in which I reside is one of the wealthiest cities in the mid-west, whose median income is about $150k, which isn't all that bad. 4-5 million mansions are rather plentiful here and in Wayzata, Medina and Dellwood (sounds like a hick-town though).

Money isn't everything though. From what I understand, it's very expensive to get your little girl into pageants.

No offense to anyone from the Dallas Fort Worth area.

I work right across the street at Henri Bendel and we admire the line every day and laugh at the rubes.... The Real Reason for the line is: A couple of weeks ago the fire warden came down and did a quick head count of the bodies inside that mess of a store and found that they were 3x over their legal capacity. They only have one means of exit (through the front door) so they are limited to something like 400 people at any time. This is the reason fat housewives and unfashionable children stand in line

Good to see Sloth is still gainfully employed.

I love the Cities so okay I will exempt Minneapolis-St. Paul from my mid-West blanket statments.
