1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Yes, actually Justin himself mentioned his Spanish Artisan located in Almansa (Albacete, Spain), hometown of some of the best and finest Spanish shoemakers (Berwick, Cordwainer, Pertini, Maganni, John Spencer, Sendra and others). I did stop there weeks ago getting jewels at bargain prices in some of the open outlets

How comes I only noticed this thread now?
Thank you a lot for sharing unbelragazzo!

Justin is a great guy that has answered immediately, friendly and very helpful to several of my emails.
While he neither offers shoes in my size nor to my taste, I wish him greatest of luck with his young family and business.
I learned about his shoe care products to be rebranded Saphir products.
So if in the future I run out of renovateur I will definitely give Justin some, if very small so, business.

    They're not Saphir, they're LCA

Oh, has he changed the supplier?
When I asked him about the mink oil renovator several month ago he told me it was renovateur.

LCA is owned by the same parent company as Saphir and they're very similar. But pretty much all private label stuff is LCA
