Hello everyone,

My name is Chris, and I'm an English teacher from California based in Shenzhen, China. I also write about men's clothing and what I've learned from the artisans, founders, and gentlemen of the cloth.

Today I want to share an article I just wrote about BRIO Beijing. Its owner, George Wang, is an admired regular on styleforum, and his shop has caught a lot of attention since opening early this year. I had the opportunity to visit Beijing in late June, and made sure BRIO was a stop. My wife and I took photos and spoke to the kind shop staff (George was in Italy to attend Pitti Uomo), resulting in this piece, titled "Arte con Brio." I hope you all enjoy. Here's an excerpt below:

The rest of the article, as well as more pictures, here.
Thank you for reading,
Chris

Patronized by the average BMW driving new money Beijinger no doubt.

Did you buy anything from him Chris?

I had a friend here who knew what Edward Green was and wore them, except he's now serving a 20 year sentence for corruption.

I went home with a copy of Simon Crompton's Permanent Style. Outside of that, I wouldn't have been able to afford anything in the store!

But I suppose you don't have to buy the art to admire it all the same.
