    You must be confused. That's what people will say after YOU die. This thread is about Alexander McQueen. It seems like he was at the height of his popularity and prestige, but I guess the professional/artistic accomplishments were eclipsed by personal tragedies, particularly the suicide of the woman who discovered him and the recent passing of his mother. Rest in peace, sir.

    He was very talented and creative even if at times I did find his creations a bit overrated.

    L'enfant terrible of Couture has passed away ..

    He just lost his beloved mum and was quite depressed .

    This is indeed very sad - I will hang an empty McQueen hanger up for one month as mourning. Seriously. He was really one of my favorites.
