Salt A’Maree’s Un
The frame’s color is quite subtle IRL.

Anyone have experience with Blyszak?
Just bought these on Y!JP, first horn frames I'll own.

They'll take a while to get to me but I can report back.

Congrats, the Midnight Special is a classic.
I think they are indeed. My father used to wear something very similar and I still have the frames. In the store I had the help of some nice ladies too, but I put the on and felt in love with them inmediately.

This thread has been an absolute inspiration. Thank you, @Tsujigiri

On a related note, I have been curious about a Miami based manufacturer called Gresso. Seem to be similar to Lindberg and the like.

Does anyone know of them?

Everyone - what's the pair you keep in your car for driving?

Mines are the Salt Optics A'Maree's Un, which have a nice gradient polarized lens which allow me to still check my map on the phone screen, etc.

RayBans were a gateway drug for me. Got 4 classic Wayfarers, 3 New WFs, 3 aviators, 3 Gatsby metal squares. One of the New Wayfarers is black, a colour which I wear less and less these days and recently got some Vuarnets Edge (as worn in No Time To Die) in chrome / black so I relegated my black WFs to the glove box!

Read through the thread a few weeks ago and realized I had not given much thought to sunglasses. I have polarized Oakleys for fishing (meh), Oakleys for golf (terrible), 3 pairs of polarized Ray Bans in our vehicles, Serengetis I now use for fishing, Vuarnet with yellow lenses for golf and a pair of Gucci aviators I purchased because the case folds flat. Do not know who made the Guccis but by far the best quality. Glass lenses with very good optics but a dark tint so only use in bright sunlight.

Got a pair of Dita Flight Seven optical frames in August but left them on the hood of my car after a Covid parking lot meeting. Watched them fly off my car and get run over when I got on the highway. Frames fit well so ordered a pair of Mach Sevens with the dark brown crystal. Should be in the next week or two but will not be able to have fitted and pick up until after the current lockdown ends. Still have enough room on my insurance that needs to get used up before March for a couple more pairs.

I keep a pair of Oliver Peoples Patten in the car for driving. Pretty simple navigator frames, but the Barberini VFX polarized lenses are simply some of the best crystal lenses ever made.

Bumping up this thread again, but what are people's thoughts on Bottega Veneta's sunglasses? I've got a pair coming but don't see too many of them being posted online
