Flying into NYC for one night next week. Coming back the next day after a business meeting. Staying at the Waldorf.

Any place in that part of town you guys would recommend for dinner? Not on an unlimited budget. I have to be careful how I spend that TARP money, you know...

Depend's on your age and what you want. You could walk up to Tao - a fairly "new york" experience with some good looking women, good food, and a bathroom situation that is fairly unique. Check their website to see if it appeals to you. You can eat at their upstairs bar without a reservation. Saves time and then you can head out to other venues for the rest of the night.

If you haven't been to the Empire State Building, buy a ticket online (saves waiting in line time) and zip up there.

Old geezer (late 40's). Married so not looking for "that". Been to NY lots and going back with the family in March. Just looking for recommendations for restaurants to try out.
