A. Testoni 45213 crocodile derbies - feedback

I just picked up a second hand pair of A. Testoni crocodile derbie shoes. They are in great condition and look stunning. I am not familiar with this brand and upon reading some reviews from this forum, I was surprised to learn their quality varies so drastically (depending on the model). This particular pair was marked "made in Italy".

Can anyone shed some light on the pair that I purchased (paid a pretty penny $400 US).
