would you mind telling us how much you charge for that kind of work?

Great post then and still a great post now.

If I may ask, what was the repair cost for this pair and the cost for a full sole replacement. Thanks.

    Great show!

"In the category of best cap toe make over, the nomineees are...."

My first time to see it. Amazing, it makes me appreciate shoes and this level of care and craftsmanship that much more.

I am still amazed by this. I think I am going to have to pick a pair of shoes to wear every day for 6 months so I can get them to the point where they need refurbishing. [IMG]

That is stunning. It makes me want to go hunt through thrift stores for desperate-looking used shoes. Can I second the question of how much it would cost to get that kind of treatment on a pair of shoes like that?

    TIA

Wow didn't see this post before the crash, stunning before and after and the detailed photos really helped me get a sense of what goes into the restoration process. You definetely saw something in those shoes that I didn't. What is the length of time over the entire course of the process?

I've never seen such extensive salt stains removed so successfully. I'll have to try vinegar on the lingering salt stains I have on some of my shoes. That doesn't affect the finish on the leather, does it?
