I mean it's obviously a horrible idea, but they couldn't even get a picture of it? Why bother reporting on completely third hand information?

Eventually there will be some fabric, synthetic probably, that will make for a better suit, than wool. And it will be washable while looking and feeling good.

How many people ski while wearing wool ski coats anymore? Gore-Tex, and other synthetics have surpassed it. To assume that wool will always be the best material for a suit is naive. Some people may prefer it due to tradition, or obstinance, but eventually there will be something better. Does anyone really like taking their wool clothing to the dry cleaners? (yes I know that suits don't necessarily have to be cleaned, etc)

Is this it the new suit material?- I doubt it, but who knows. I'll just let someone else figure out the mistakes.

Sounds like an update of the 'wash and wear' suits with polywool or polycotton blends that were first popular in the fifties.
