I'm not a tie guy, but I recently moved to a job that requires more client visits and figured I'd pick up my first Hober, a burgundy grossa grenadine. After this one, I don't see myself buying ties anywhere else. Thanks David!

Wanted to get in on the action. I’ve somehow accumulated eight or nine Hober ties but three of my favorites here. Pictures don’t do any justice to the mulberrywood in the middle. It’s so elegant—I have to stop myself from wearing it too much. 908D0B7C-257A-4558-ABF6-5B304F8B9045.jpeg

I have a tough time navigating his website when looking for something specific. Anybody seen anything similar to this tie on there?

And out of curiosity, anybody know what tie they would pair with a jacket with this pattern? (I guess assuming a white or light blue solid shirt)

It’s not that hard. You’re looking for a Macclesfield tie, which can be found here: https://www.samhober.com/macclesfield-print-silk-ties/

There’s several choices in forest, olive, and light green.

The first question was already answered so for the second:
I would pair a solid in mid brown or rust, something with texture.

Here is my latest haul. The gold with blue pin dot is a Mogador, and is an amazing fabric. I can endorse all of these!

I’m still looking for a nice copper option out of the current stock... any leads?

Nice haul, especially the orange and blue stripped! I have the X pattern tie but in purple and white and it has become a staple in my regular rotation.

I really enjoy that pattern in all variations. I struggle with the purple. I love it but can’t envision a useable combo with my navy and charcoal coats. I also have it in blue/orange, it’s a winner too!

The purple actually works very nicely with both a charcoal and navy suit.

Agreed. Especially purple and any shade of gray suit. A nice change of pace from navy & gray.
