Quite the experience opening your first premium tie order. Looking at the ties in person is vastly different from all the pics online. I equate it to looking at a picture of the Grand Canyon vs seeing it in person.

From left to right: Burgundy Grossa, Chocolate Pometeo, Navy Fina, Charcoal Gray wool/silk.

I was a little worried that the Charcoal Gray looked too dark or too near black on Hober’s site, but against the non-natural light, it looks closer to the Gray tie pictured on the site, which makes me curious what shade of Dark Charcoal Gray looks like live.

The Grossa and Pometeo weaves are closer in similarity than the Fina. Hopefully, my pic below will help another future first time patron.

These ties are amazing and gorgeous, and my wife heard me say this out loud to which she replied, “Are these ties more beautiful than me?” ? Later, my internal monologue said, “How do I stop from buying a hundred more? This is a dangerous slope.” I can’t wait to see these with my suits.

Beautiful ties, and you are perceptive to observe that you are about to fall into the SH rabbit hole. Enjoy the journey
