Nice tie. What width did you go with?

Thank you! David recommended 3.75'' when I ordered my first tie, and I have stuck with that for every order.

This new order I dropped the length a bit and requested that he make the width up in the middle a bit wider to get a better hold in the knot and a more pronounced dimple.

I'm not exactly sure of the math behind it, but the middle is wider and then tapers to a 3.75'' blade. It would be interesting to see how much wider it actually is compared to my original orders.

Yes, some of my shirts are OCBD and all of my shirts are button down collars.

Go back through the last 15 or so pages and you'll find some of my ties and invariably you'll see a few here or there with grenadines and OCBD.

Hope this helps.

ADD: I think I wore a pastel pink OCBD last week with my silver grenadine. Check that out and then look at my others.

Oxford Cloth Button Down. Heavy weight cotton shirts with a BD collar.

Nice! Wool challis is great stuff. I almost selected your tie’s dark red twin this morning!

It's a classic! Will be getting more very soon..... I suspect its twin is the one on my wish list :)

Well this l inspired me to select it today. On a challis side note, my wife reminded me that there is a candid shot of me wearing my midnight blue version from when I got my covid vaccination :)

I tried the hand rolled edges, untipped. It’s a nice detail, but no one will ever see it but me LOL

Very nice! The hand rolled edges versus the regular makeup are not hand rolled?

I was always confused by the verbiage on that. Nice looking tie!

Right so this is how the untipped hand rolled tie looks when you flip it over
