Has anyone ordered and have a picture they can post of this grenadine fina pin dot tie? It’s midnight blue and I’m worried it’s a bit too dark and would have preferred it in a navy blue. I have a swatch and it looks pretty dark, but wanted to see if anyone has pictures to share.

Just shoot David (the name behind SH) an email, and he’ll get you on the right path. One assumes your size estimation is quite a bit off, as a tie of that width would look laughably slim. As mentioned above, far likelier JFK has one in the 3” (MAYBE 2.75”ish) range. In any event, David will steer you in the right direction

Thanks. Will do that.

I came close to ordering that, but decided on a silver/grey grenadine and a burgundy pindot. Looks good!

Thank you! It is really hard to pick up in photos.

I'm hoping David gets some burgundy reppe ties in again because I really need a versatile one like that

I’m looking to purchase my first high quality order of ties from Sam Hober. I’m curious how much stretch do the Grenadine Grossa ties give over what period of time? At most, I plan on wearing my Grenadines once every 2 weeks approximately.

I’m planning to buy a solid Navy Grenadine Grossa, a solid Burgundy Grenadine cashmere/silk, and the black & white Prince of Whales as my 1st order.

I have grenadine fina ties and they have not stretched very much to make a difference. The grossa is a looser weave, so I would imagine they would stretch more.

David lurks here sometimes; you should just email him directly from the website and he'll be happy to help and clarify whatever questions you need. He is a consummate gentleman.
