Thanks, it's a gorgeous tie! I never noticed the weave before, but it's unique.

Funny, the camera didn't pick it up well but it's actually an eccru color. If you look closely, it looks like a yellowed white (on my screen) due to the light, but it's actually eccru!

I think that knot looks awesome. Don't let that get you down about the tie!

3.5'' is a classic width. Due to my height, David suggested I go with 3.75'' (classic, larger becomes goofy) and I absolutely love the slightly wider blade.

I started my Hobers at 3.5’’ and then moved up to 3.75’’ but I think for my next tie I might try one right in between those two widths.

Before I placed my first order, I emailed David so much he should've put me on the payroll. :slapfight:

I never could get behind the skinny tie trend.

I went with his advice for my size and I wasn't disappointed! I really think that anything from 3.5'' to 3.75'' is the sweet spot, depending on one's style and body frame.

Took an outdoor photo to get a true color shot on the tie. Indoor lighting didn't do it justice.

nice, savvy
which tie is this
Thank you! Not even the photo I took does the tie justice. Really gorgeous in person. I thought this would be a versatile color and I have nothing like it in the closet; very happy to have it.

Very very nice!

:worship2: thank you! Been thinking about wearing this combo since before I left on vacation last week. I find that shirt is hard to pair since it's such a bold stripe...

It (the shirt) works really well with that Hober.....

Thanks. It's a cool tie and really pops against the bold blue pinstripe.

Just got this one the other day. Go easy on me for the terrible collar creases please.

So glad you posted this. This one is on my list and looks great!

Man, you are killing it. Love that tie and the shirt looks fine to me!

Thank you! The color online was exactly how I thought it would be. It's a tough color to photograph (for me), but David's site does a really good job.

I don't come across ties like it out in the wild; sometimes that shade of salmon looks chintzy (other makers) but David did it well!

Has anyone purchased the chocolate/midnight blue linen or cashmere/grenadine tie? Looking for a good picture of one beyond what’s on the site.
