Nice tie. Have you considered wearing it with a shirt with a larger-scale pattern? Spacing of your shirt stripes is about the same as the spacing of your tie's neats. Preferably a shirt-pattern scale even bigger than the below. (Your navy striped grenadine should go nicely with your red triple-stripe shirt.) h-034801_1_2d.jpg

Perfect shirt tie combo today and of course I spilled on the tie first time wearing it.

A brown necktie these days is a sure sign of someone who thinks about their clothes. Sure sign in a good way, that is. Nice hauls. I suspect you will get the most wears out of the darker solids and the striped ties.

Thank you :thumbs-up:! I think you are right; I can't remember the last time I've seen a brown tie out in public.
They are all totally different and I am very happy with them!

You have to be best dressed professional on your webinars!

Haha thanks! I'm still in the office and keeping it classy while being there! Love all of the ties!

Which one is this? I am intrigued.

Royal Artillery! Really wanted a British type stripe. May have to grab more.

Thanks! Yeah, I am experimenting... That stripe is a tough one along with a smaller tattersall type pattern (have a few).

The pattern you posted would have been killer. I suppose gray base ties can go with basically any color...

Navy striped grenadine would've been killer! Grenadines are very, very nice. They've grown on me. I prefer the denser weave to the very loose ones (to my eye).

Like this pairing, as well as your navy repp stripe with your tattersall. In both, the difference in scale between the tie pattern and the shirt pattern is pleasing to the eye. And, in both, the navy ground of both ties seems to grow out of the blue in the shirt patterns.

Thank you. I was going to pick a bolder tie, but decided the classic navy blue was the way to go this morning... Really turned out well.

I have a few shirts of varying stripes, and the thinner ones (like above) actually seem more difficult to pair than the bolder stripes - candy stripes or something similar.
