1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'll throw my measurements into the mix: I'm 5'10", 16" neck, and prefer 59" ties. I tie a four-in-hand and prefer higher rise trousers. Back blade usually ends up being about 2 inches shorter than the front. I have typically preferred 3.5 inch ties, but thought I'd experiment a little and specified one at 3.75 on my recent order from Hober. :)

Add to that neck size, and waist size which makes the tie hang differently

My pants begin at my natural waist but slide down after a short while which is why I'm having brace/suspender buttons added to all my suit pants.

I posted this in the blazer thread also: what do you typically wear the Macclesfield ties with? I am considering wearing one with a navy odd jacket, but wasn't sure if they were considered to be on the more formal side.

certainly they are 100% great with a suit. as to SCs, some would say no, but i do it with more subdued SC/trousers combos and i think they work fabulously. im sure ive posted pics and if you want, i could try and find them for you. tho i would feel a bit egotastical to use myself as an example.

What a terrific typo, assuming it's a typo.

Thanks for the reply. I was leaning towards not wearing it, but this just pushed me over the edge.

Better egotastical than egotestical... I think.

You do know that the swatches won't magically turn into ties right before your eyes, right? [IMG] You've got to e-mail David to order them.
