From both your experiences, it seems like my solid grenadine choices will be a good foundation with versatility. Then I may venture out to stripes, small repeating patterns, etc.

I’ll be ecstatic to post tie pics later this year and contribute to this thread’s tie portfolio. I haven’t seen an ugly tie yet on here... be an interesting thread though on “ugly ties” like ugly Xmas sweaters. I may have been gifted one or two horrific ones I haven’t thrown away yet, but should have.

Has anyone purchased this one and have a pic of it in the "wild"?

For the longest time I wouldn’t wear a paisley tie. I’ve warmed a bit to them in recent years. Now have 2, one of which I’m wearing today.

He's back!

Hoberlode 3.0 testing out some new dimensions so I kept the order small. New fabrics will be a welcome addition to the closet!

Wow! The price of these ties is really extraordinary, when you consider the quality of the material and the make. I'll have to place an order once my clothing budget is replenished.

New Hober, old bourbon. Mogador fabric is really killer!

Happy Friday guys!
