Wow, quite an order. Can't wait to see.
to quote the immortal philosopher Tom Petty, the waiting is the hardest part
pics to follow shortly after arrival
So, while watching the Syracuse-Louisville B-Ball game the other night, ESPN showed the commentators and Bill Rafftery was wearing the tie below or an exact replica from another maker. I don't know if it was a Hober but it sure looked like it. I have that tie and it looked great on him.
No wonder my mere two ties are takinging longer than usual . is David too busy making your stuff.
Please post pics when you get it.
I'm curious: why did you choose bitter chocloate and burgundy in the fina as opposed to the grossa?
just personal preference for the fina - and I have a blue, burgundy, green grossa (non hober) already
Anyone have a pic of the grenadine garza pin dot in action? Will order swatches, but would love to see what it looks like?
Bitter chocolate 4-fold grenadine:
(looks like the same jacket but isn't):
Very nice tie...
Any chance you will get materials for a Notre Dame tie?
Hober Challis in the wilds of Sydney...
Eventually went with the dark red one today.
Forest Green cashmere tie (and pocket square), worn on my wedding day. Absolute pleasure to deal with David Hober.
Is that ^ the Forest Green on Black Warp or a different cashmere tie? I'm asking because yours looks so much richer and greener than mine. See for yourself...
My two ties from Sam Hober. I splurged a bit on these and tend to shy away from wearing them, just because I don't want to mess them up (I usually wear ties in an environment that is prone to ruining ties)..they are damn sharp, though. Sorry for the not so great photo quality. From my android and I really should be studying right now, so trying to make it quick. Wish I could afford to buy more of them.
