gotta go for the fina too unless u get a regular manicure- the grossa, I hate to say it, tends to get snagged, and then where are you? grenadine 'porcupina'.

I clip my own nails and have never had a problem with snags. I've had more problems with regular silk ties than grenadines. The grossa is not a loose weave but a larger weave.

Agreed. I don't snag my grenadines nearly as much as I do my finer weave ties, especially the shiny ones.

^ Yeah, I won't buy those ties in that pseudo satin weave made up into small squares. They're the worst for snagging. Never had a problem with a grenadine snagging.

Tell you what guys, I have a lot of Hober fabric swatches. I will be happy to mail a swatch or multiple swatches to anyone who wants them. I have almost all of the Macclesfield prints, the grenadine pin dots, the repp solids, the diamond weaves, the repp stripes and maybe some others. I easily have over a 100 swatches.

Give me a pm with your address and the swatch you want and I will mail them out to you next week. There will be no cost to you. I will pay for postage.

    Merry Christmas.

My latest order from the Hobers:

Lined 4-fold Burgundy Grenadine Garza Grossa. The fullness of the tie is incredible!

Macclesfield Print pocket square. The weight of the silk and the intensity of the colours is amazing. How David manages to charge what he does for pocket squares is beyond me.

On top of the quality of the goods, David also managed to ship it to me in Canada in 4 days!
